Peaches

Peaches, what can we say about them? Everything! They are so juicy and sweet. So many desserts and drinks can be made from them, as well as beauty products. Peaches can be used to make jellies, jams, candy, lip gloss, perfume, and so many other things.

I almost forgot about peach ice cream and peach yogurt.

Look at this delicious peach pie, doesn't it make you want to make one? Speaking of peaches, I am about to eat one right now. I love the way they smell. They are so aromatic.

I have always loved 🍑 peaches. We had all kinds of peach trees in our yard when I lived in the country with my grandparents, mom, aunt, uncle, and cousins. We had so much fun watching them bloom every year. The peaches were small, medium, and large. The yard always smelled so good in the springtime and the summertime. It's nothing like having your very own fruit trees in your yard. Those are the times I miss the most. I learned so much about flowers, fruits, and different plants.

Peach cobbler is another homemade favorite of mine. My grandmother made the best peach cobbler ever. Everyone loved it. I haven’t had one like hers since I was a kid. There was never any left for the next day. The kitchen smelled so good especially when the aromas started flowing in the air. Her homemade peach turnovers were delicious! The glaze she made to go on them pulled everything together. We all would be in the kitchen watching her make them. To be completely honest, those that are sold in the stores don't taste homemade at all. There’s just not any love in them at all. Real food, no matter what kind it is, when it is made with love you can taste it. It makes you feel good inside, it makes me smile, and sometimes even shed a few tears because it's so good.

We know that every tree starts off as a sapling. Peach trees start small, they grow from seed just as any other tree. It flowers, and the fruit grows from the flowers until it ripens to eat. So, peaches are an edible plant that's good for us. It is versatile. You can use them in fruit salads, vegetable salads, as decorations, garnish, and to make a peach compote to glaze a turkey, chicken, ham, or whatever kind of meat you prefer to use it on. Peaches are the best fruit in my opinion that has the best fragrance at any time of the year.
