Look at this seeded loaf of bread, maybe it is seeded with sunflower seeds. Just think about how it would taste with your favorite jam, jelly, or made into a peanut butter sandwich. Sunflower seeds can be pressed to extract the oil from them that can be used when cooking. Sunflower seeds can be roasted and salted to have a snack. You can carry them with you in your pockets, or a bag when traveling. Sunflower seeds can be used in salads and salad dressings.
The list goes on and on. You just have to be creative when it comes to using seeds in the kitchen. Sunflowers can be used to decorate cakes, used to make bouquets, they can be put in a pretty vase with water to brighten any room. They can be worn in your hair, and if you are very creative, you can use them to make pretty headbands and necklaces. So when you see sunflowers basking in the sun, just know that they are waiting to be harvested and used for something special.
When the sun departs in the evening, they are just as gorgeous in the setting of the sun.
