Dream Killers

We all have a dream, or dreams that we want to see come true. We wait our whole life to see those dreams come true. We work hard at what we want in life while keeping our dream(s) in the front of our minds. When the time is just right, we get to see those dreams come true.

There are those who can't stand to see your dreams come true because their doors haven't opened for them. They will do everything they can to make you feel like you have done something wrong for pursuing your dreams. They start to act funny and look at you differently. They find every excuse in the book to put you down and make you give up on your future dreams.

Dream killers are everywhere; they could even be in your family. It is a shame when things are that way. Sometimes your family doesn't want to see you succeed because maybe it was something they wanted to do that they couldn't do for whatever reason.

Those are the type of people you want to stay away from. They will not have your best interest at heart, and they will not give you any positive encouragement. They will resent you for going after your dreams.

Sometimes we have to be our own cheerleaders. We have to encourage ourselves to follow the dreams that have been placed in our hearts. We cannot let what others say stop us from pursuing our dreams. As always, avoid negativity, surround yourself with positive people who care about you, and will have your best interest at heart.
