Feelings Matter

Why are people mean and hateful towards others? Do they not realize that feelings matter?

Why can't words be spoken without making someone feel less than you? Do they not realize that feelings matter?

Why do people not use their words to lift the spirit of somebody, instead of tearing them down? Do they not realize that feelings matter?

Use words to bring joy, happiness, and peace, not hurt and heartache. Use words to educate, enlighten, and for wisdom. If you can't use your words for good, don’t use them at all. Do YOU not realize that feelings matter?

When you realize how your words have power you will want to use them wisely. Your words can affect somebody in ways you never thought they would. You just cannot say things to people and expect to not receive a response from them. People are different, no two people are the same. We all perceive things differently, and we react differently depending on how words are spoken to us.

I know sometimes we may say something not thinking about what we are saying, but what we fail to realize is that it could fall on the wrong ears and those ears could cause problems for the speaker who uttered the words unintentionally.

We have to watch what we say and how we say it because someone could take what we say the wrong way. Often the words we speak can be twisted around to make them sound like we said something else other than what we said, and that can cause problems as well. Apologies are always in order just because of words and how they are spoken. The fact of the matter is this, “Feelings Matter.” Watch your mouth! It’s not hard. Speak to someone about how you want to be spoken to. That’s not hard either. You are not being mean, hateful, or ugly, you are just letting someone know how you will, or will not be spoken to.

Words carry tons of weight, use them wisely. Be kind when speaking to someone. They will respect you for it. Who knows, you may even make a lifelong friend in the process of things.

Always remember, “Feelings Matter.”

#Feelings, #use words wisely, # Feelings Matter.

I don't know how many times I have said to someone, it is not what you say, but how you say it or stress it. A whole sentence spoken can be perceived differently depending on how it is said. Do you agree, or disagree?
