Shattered Hearts

Words of pain, words of hurt, and words of sorrow create shattered hearts. Emotions overflow with every passing moment. Tears stream from the eyes of the hurt as if rivers were running through them. Breath hesitates to breathe because of the shards that protrude from the shattered hearts that are hurting.

Senseless speech, hateful looks, and words of ridicule contribute to the shattered hearts that beat deep within the souls of the carriers. How must they deal with the pain they feel? How must they get over what was said that shattered their hearts? Time heals all wounds, but it will take a miracle to heal these shattered hearts.

Screams of disdain shriek in the atmosphere from the shattered hearts. Whys, and how comes, what goes proceed from the hurting hearts. They are so broken in their spirits knowing that the pain they feel will last a very long time although things may have changed for the better, those hurtful words will always remain in front of their minds never forgetting the words that shattered their hearts.

Comfort ye me soul and spirit that I, we, he, or she may feel joy once again. Give our shattered hearts the love that we seek from day to day. Touch the mouths of the speaker, or speakers who pour out words of hate that they may only speak well so that our hearts may receive what they deserve most and that’s real love.

Sentiments of love would love to proceed forth, but the pain will not let it. The hearts are overwhelmed with grief, tears, and sorrow but all in all, they still find a reason to smile through it all. Feelings worn on the sleeves of the hurt never seem to heal, but forgiveness plays a part in the healing process for them.

Return love. Be not far away. Be ever near unto us that we may find peace for our shattered hearts. We may put the broken pieces back together again. We may fall in love again. We may unite our hearts back together again, and give our shattered hearts their home again one to another. Broken pieces can be put back together again just as the pieces of our shattered hearts. c.7/8/2024
