Whenever we are born into this world, and before we are formed in our mother's womb God puts a calling on our lives to serve Him and His Kingdom. Did we know it? The answer is not right then but as we were taught the Word of God, we had a feeling that we were created to do more than just read the Bible.
We did not know what we were supposed to be doing, but we knew that we had to find out what our calling was. No one except the One who created us can tell us that, or show us in His own perfect way what our calling is. When the Holy Spirit starts working in our lives in ways to help us to know what to do is amazing and a blessing. The Holy Spirit guides us into our calling. Is it easy to embrace at first? We have questions about it. We want to talk about it to see if this is the thing that God has called us to do. The best way to know for sure is to pray for clarity and understanding. God in His infinite wisdom will let you know. You have to pay attention and listen when He is speaking to your spirit.

Many are called but few are chosen, so when God calls you to work for Him it is a Kingdom blessing. I have to admit that I ran from my calling until I literally could not run anymore. I was spiritually exhausted, drained, and emotional. I was confused about what I was supposed to be doing. I did not know what God wanted me to do. All I knew was that I had been called and chosen. I studied every waking moment. I did not sleep. I was not too tired anymore. I was no longer emotional, and I was happy just spending time with God in His Word.

So, whatever God has called you to do, embrace it. Don’t run from it. He has chosen you for a reason. He loves you and He will lead and guide you all the way until Jesus returns. God bless you.
