Delegation is one of the best ways to keep your ministry healthy, balanced, and impactful. It also gives others the opportunity to grow in their spiritual gifts. Here are some examples of ministry tasks I can delegate (grouped by area):
1. Administrative Tasks
Managing emails, phone calls, and scheduling appointments
Creating and printing bulletins, flyers, and handouts
Keeping attendance or membership records
Handling bookkeeping, donations, and financial tracking
Organizing church supplies and inventory
2. Event Planning & Coordination
Setting up and cleaning up for services, Bible studies, or special events
Coordinating guest speakers, musicians, or worship leaders
Planning fellowship gatherings, retreats, or conferences
Decorating spaces for special occasions (holidays, baptisms, weddings)
Preparing hospitality (food, drinks, greeters for newcomers)
3. Worship & Service Roles
Leading worship, singing, or playing instruments
