When Times Get Tough

We never know what tomorrow is going to bring. We never know if we will even wake up the next day. So, how do we prepare for the tough times? We pray and ask God to give us strength to get through them. We ask God to strengthen our faith in Him. We ask God to help us trust Him more. When times get tough, we don't give up. We stay in faith knowing that God will bring us through whatever we are going through. It may even look dark like there's not any light at the end of the tunnel. We have to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and that light is Jesus Christ.

The light that Jesus gives us will never go out, and no one can ever take it from us. The light that Jesus gives is His love, and His love lasts forever. No matter what we go through His love is right there with us. He is always with us even when it seems like He isn't. I know sometimes we want to hear Hts is voice when we talk to Him just like the prophets did, but maybe if we listen closely we can. Maybe if we put everything aside and focus when we pray we can hear His voice.

When we read the Word of God we can hear His voice. He speaks to our hearts and soul. He shows us things about ourselves that we may need to change. He corrects us when we should be corrected. He knows that we are only human and we need Him to be there for us. When times get tough, we often forget about who has all of the answers to all of the problems we are facing daily.

We have to remember that we are never alone. We may feel lonely at times, but we are never alone. God is always with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He said He woud always be with us even until the end of the age. When times get tough, we know Jesus is always on our side. He helps us fight our battles even when we cannot feel His Spirit. He is always moving things around for our protection. When times are tough, there isn't anything that's too small, or to big for Jesus to handle. We are small people who serve a great big God.

When times get tough we can always run to God because He will always be there.
