I created a poll asking this question with a few statements to choose from. This poll is not to bash music, but I have always wanted to know how people feel about it. Everyone has their own opinions and feelings about such things as this, but I thought it would be fun. I love music, don’t get me wrong, but some of it I can not listen to. It doesn't matter to me if it has a cool beat with a nice baseline. If the words are too harsh I can not listen to them.
I cannot stand profanity. I don't like it when females are called out by their name because we are all someone's mother, aunt, sister, cousin, grandmother, wife, and friend. We are ministers and the givers of life. I am not browbeating anyone, this is just how I feel.
When I was younger, much younger, I didn't care about what was said in music because I listened to it 24/7/365. I never thought I would have an opinion about music, but now that I am older, it doesn't make sense for me to listen to it. I guess it is because I have grown apart from it. Sometimes I may hear a song that I listened to a very long time ago that brings back good memories, and sometimes I may hear a song that brings back bad memories, but it is only a moment in time.
Listen to what you like, and don’t listen to what you don’t like. As I stated before, this is just something I have always wanted to know. Until next time, keep the beats flowing.✌️
