Do we ever think about where our blessings come from? Do we ever think to thank the Master for all of the blessings He gives to us on a daily basis? Do we ever really think about the blessings we are given? It is a blessing just to wake up to see another day that we have never seen before. It is a blessing to take a breath, to have eyes to see, a voice to talk, legs to walk, to have all of our members working properly. It is a blessing to have ears to hear, and hands to reach out to God and praise Him.

When we forget where our blessings come from, we can look to the hills from whence cometh our help, because our help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. He gives us blessings because He loves us so much. He knows what's best for us. If He gave us everything we asked for at one time, we would not be able to handle it, we would lose our minds.

Every child born into this world is a blessing. When Jesus was born, it was the best blessing ever. He was the blessing that everyone had been waiting for a very long time. He was the blessing that the prophets talked about before He was born. He is the blessing who changed the whole world. He is the blessing who laid down His life for all of us and our sins. He is the blessing who sustains us when we are going through hard times. He is the blessing who stays beside us when everything in our life is falling apart. He is the blessing who comforts us when we lose someone we love, or even when we lsoe our job. He is the blessing who will never leave us nor forsake us. He is the blessing who gives us our heart desires when we delight in Him. He is the blessing who goes before us to move the things out of the way that could harm us. He is the blessing who makes the crookd paths straight.

He is the blessing who calms the storms that are raging inside of us. He is the blessing who sings over us because that's just how much He loves us. He is the blessing who keeps the bad dreams away. He is the blessing who strengthens our faith when our faith becomes weak. Everything we have is a blessing from God. Let us never forget where our blessings come from.
