My Life: From the Back Burner

I wanted to share what my book looks like, but this isn't a very good picture of it. Soon as I can get a great picture of it, I will repost it in another article. It is about some of the struggles I have come through in my life. It is about never giving up on your dreams, or yourself, because when you do that, your dreams start fading. Sometimes life gets hard and you lose focus on what your dreams are. This is why I always keep a journal of ideas that come up with just in case I lose focus on what I want to do.

Writing a book was just a dream that I had when I was very young. Little did I know that one day that dream was going to come true. It was so far out of reach, but when it finally came true in May of this year, I almost could not believe it was happening; I thought I was dreaming. I thought of everything that I had been through which led me to write my book. I still feel like I am dreaming whenever I look at it and hold it in my hands. God really came through for me. He led my son to help me, I just do not know how it would have come to be without Him. I can truly say that I am very blessed. It has been five months now since my book was published. I cannot wait to finish my second book, My Life Moving Forward. I started writing it right after my book was published in June of this year. I have written four chapters so far, but I have had writer's block coming up with the fifth chapter. I hope to have it finished and published sometime next year. Until then, I will be working on looking into other avenues of adventure. This journey I am on is wonderful. It has had its ups and downs, and sleepless nights, but all in all it is worth every minute of my time to explore and to see my dreams come true.
