Thinking About My Future

Sometimes I think about my life growing up being a kid living in the country with big hopes and dreams. I knew how I wanted my life to be. I knew what I wanted to accomplish when I grew up, and I knew that I was going to move away one day. I know that I was just a kid back then, but I planned out my life. I also knew that I was going to get married and be happy.

Now that I am grown, I have my own little family. I have five beautiful children. They are all grown now. We are empty nesters. I never saw my life without my children. I thought they would always be here with us. When I think about my future, I can see us being together again. I can see myself being successful in all areas of my life. I see my dreams coming true. I see myself doing all of the things I want to do. When I think about all that I have been through in my life, I can say that I am truly blessed. I can say that turning fifty was a blessing. It is the birthday that I thought I would not get to see a very long time ago.

Going back to school has been a milestone, but it has been also challenging from one month to the next.

Tuition is expensive but I manage to pay it. I plan to complete my education before the end of 2025, I know that I can do it. I have to find a quiet place to do it, I guess I will have to go to the Library on my off days to study. I just want my future to be great. I don’t know what God has for me in my future, but I know it is going to be great. I believe that wholeheartedly. I expect greatness in my future, but for now I have to work towards it until I see it happening right before my eyes. I am blessed, grateful, appreciative, and thankful. I thank God in advance for everything He has for me right now and in my future.❤️🙏🏾🌹
