When Your Job Doesn’t Care

Today, something happened that was out of my control, and I had to miss work because of it. I could not just turn my back on my husband. He had to go to the hospital in an ambulance, and I had to drive the car to the hospital to be with him. I don't know what happened to him, but it was serious. I called my job to let them know but the supervisor didn't care. He said they would probably call me about that. I cannot help what happened, but I know they are going to blame me because I had to miss work. What was I supposed to do? Was I supposed to leave him alone and go to work? That's just not something I could do. I could not see that happening. I had to be with him.

I had to vent. I had to get out what I was feeling right now. I just have to be calm so I can drive home if he doesn't want to. I know that everything will be alright.

God has this. This is just another thing we have to get through.
