We all have a past, present, and future, but we are not defined by our past. Our past is behind us, it is something that we have moved on from, but some do not want us to forget it, they always bring it up to remind us of the mistakes we made, the bad decisions we made, and how careless we were. No one has the right to judge anyone, it is not our place to do that. People who lived long ago made mistakes, and that is what they are remembered for because people chose to attach that stigma to them instead of looking at the good things they did. It is the same way today. I know someone who complains about people judging them, they don't want to be judged, but they have it bad judging others. I always tell them not to judge others if they don't want to be judged by others. How do you feel about people judging other people? Do you think it’s fair? If a stop could be put to judging others, what would it be, and how would it be executed? We are not defined by our past, it is not who we are.

I Cried Over You is a poem about a woman who has gone through many challenges with love, hurt, heartbreak, heartache, and pain, but she still has a heart to let be the one who hurt her, and who she hurt. She knows all too well about love and loss. She knows all too well about give and take. She knows all too well about sorrow and tears. This woman is stronger than she thinks she is. She has endured more hardships than a few. She is smart, loving, and kind, but most of all she is a diamond in the rough that still sparkles and shines.

Shattered Hearts is an original poem written by myself, Shaunelius L. Sterns. I wrote this poem because we all at some point experience our hearts being shattered. Our hearts are sensitive to certain things, such as words that hurt them when hateful words are being spoken to us. Sometimes it takes years to get over, but in due time our hearts will heal, and we can move on from it, sometimes depending on the magnitude of what was spoken could take forever, and we could be permanently damaged by them. No one enjoys having their hearts broken and shattered. The pain from it all makes it hard to breathe. It does something to your soul and it can keep you from moving forward and trusting someone, or you may not ever want to fall in love again. It could make you want to stay single, or never marry anyone again if you have heard those dreaded four words, “I Want A Divorce”. Hearing those words is hard for anyone to get over once they have been said even if the mind of the speaker has been changed, it lingers for a very long time. It will make you look at love differently forever. If you have ever had your heart broken and shattered, you understand what I am saying. If you have not then you don't know the magnitude of that kind of feeling. You don’t understand the severity of it. When you feel that your heart has been shattered, read my poem. You may be looking at this question and wondering how to answer it. Well, I was hoping you could stop and think before responding. When you were growing up and someone said, "I love you?" How did it make you feel? Did you wonder why they said it? Did you give it any thought? We know that our parents love us so when they say it we know they mean it, and why they said it. Now, let's fast forward to the teenage years. When we were teenagers, our bodies started to go through the stage called puberty. Our emotions started to develop, we needed our privacy, and the things we once did when we were younger were not as fun anymore. We experienced having crushes going to parties, and dating. We wanted to stay out past ten and hang out with our friends. We wanted to have sleepovers and all of the things teenagers do. Well, now that boys started noticing girls differently things changed from just being friends. Well, here comes the heartbreak, heartache, headache, and shedding of tears. Now, that's when we learned that we had to protect our hearts from ever being hurt again at such a young age. This is where we sware off boys for good until our hearts mend. Years came and went. This is where we decided to give love another try. Now we are grown and full of experience. We know what to look out for. We know that every guy has a line they will try to drop to get our attention, but we know about that all too well so, we are on the lookout to not go for that foolishness. Well, along comes "Joe". You think he may be the one. You both hit it off. Now you and he are in love and hate to be away from one another so, he asks you to marry him, you say yes, and the rest is history. A few children later, things start to dwindle downhill. You both are going in separate directions in your lives. The love isn't there anymore, but you stay together for the sake of your children. You try counseling to see if it may help the relationship, but things don't get better so, you both decide to end the marriage. Love comes in many forms. You just have to pay attention. I see love in my life from those who love me. I see love in my life from God. I see love in my life because I have love in my heart. When you see love in your life you can share that love with someone who needs love in a Christian-friendly way. It doesn't have to always be about romance. Being kind to someone is showing someone love. Helping the homeless is showing someone love. Buying someone something to eat just because it shows someone love. Where do you see love in your life? Tonight has not been one of my better nights. I logged into my site to edit my pages, and to no avail, it did not work. I have been trying to get my website back right since I tried to add another page. I honestly do not know what I am doing wrong, but whatever it is, it is giving me a headache. Have you ever experienced anything like this before? I have been creating websites since 2019, and I have never gone through these problems to edit anything. Normally things will fall into place, but this is frustrating. I am so upset. I didn't think that I would have this kind of problem. I wish now I never tried to add that page I wanted to add. I was only trying to make it better. This is terrible, I cannot even spell my words correctly. I have had to make three corrections since I started writing this article. I guess my patience has run short. I normally am a very patient person, but right now I need some patience. I know that having patience is good, but right now I am depleted of patience. How has your day been? I hope it wasn't anything like I have gone through. Well, I am going to have to wait until I am contacted through email to get the help I need to solve this problem. Who knows what life will throw at you? Who knows what to do when it happens? Feeling the way I am feeling makes me wonder what life is all about. I thought it was about living and being happy, but when the struggles come, how do we make it through the hard times? I look at the world and all of the things that's going on and I wonder why? Why does things have to be this way? Why can't there be peace, love, joy, and happiness? Why does there have to be so much hate, heartbreak, heartache, pain, sadness, catastrophe, violence, suffering, shame, disappointment, anger, confusion, conflict, contempt, controversy, destruction, despair, and catastrophe? When will things ever be in order as they should? I can't stand seeing people suffering. I can't stand seeing people homeless. What is this world coming to? I thought love conquered all, but it doesn't seem as if it does. All I see is what I don't like. Does anyone else see what they don't like? Will anyone else speak out about what they don't like going on in the world? What kind of people would we be if we didn't speak out about the things that we are concerned about, and the things that are currently going on in the world around us? Look at what's going on around the world. Look at the wars that's going on. Look at all of the innocent people young and old who've lost their lives, and for what!?!? This world is not ours to be fighting over. We live in this world because it is where we reside for now, it's not our permanent home; it's only temporary until Jesus Christ returns, or we go home before He does. You may wonder why I am speaking the way I am. I am speaking this way because it needs to be said. When I started writing this article, I didn't know it was going to be this way. I suppose it was on my heart and I didn't know it until now, otherwise it would have been written a long time ago. This was supposed to be about making it through the hard times, but when you think about it, we are living in the hard times. You may ask how are we living in the hard times well, look at everything going on in the world. Look at the economy. Look at the prices on merchandise. Does that answer your question? Things has gone wrong since COVID-19 reared its ugly head in the world. Nothing has been right since. Making it through the hard times will take lots of prayer, and having faith that things will be alright. We can't give up when hard times come. Trials come to make us strong, and to grow our faith. With that being said, stay safe, stay prayed up, and keep God first in all things. He is the only One who can bring us through these hard times.

When I think about the season of Fall it brings joy to my heart because I was born in the Fall. It is a beautiful season. I enjoy the colors that adorn the trees, and the smell in the air is so inviting. I can't forget about the sunsets, they can be breathtakingingly beautiful. For me, it is a feeling of peace and harmony. I can't speak for everyone, but that's how I feel. I enjoy walking in the evenings when it's cool, or just sitting outside enjoying the evening. It's not as hot, but I like it. Looking at these beautiful flowers, the trees, and the pretty green grass gives me the feelings of tranquility, harmony, and peace. The sky is beautiful and blue, and the sun is shining brighter than ever. These are the kind of days that everything feels right in the world, that's my opinion. The clouds are perfect, not to many but just enough to bring everything together. The world was created beautifully, but the seasons that come and go is where memories are made. Have you ever thought about that? Every season has memories filled in them, this is why we can say things like, it was Fall, Winter, Summer, Autumn, orSpring when something happened. Fall will always be my favorite season, and Spring is my next favorite season. I don't know what this season will bring for me, but I know I am going to enjoy it to the fullest. Today I am feeling blessed, I owe it all to God. I have to show Him in my own way how thankful I am for what He has done for me. He has opened the door for me once again, and should I walk through that door it will be because He is walking right by my side. I have been through a lot these past few months that made me wonder if I was going to make it through what I was facing, but He showed up right on time. Since last year, I have seen miracle after miracle happen in my life because of God. When I thought I was being looked over and forgotten about, He was preparing me for my blessings to be received. It would take me forever to tell you about everything He has done for me and is doing right now in my life. Words cannot describe the magnitude of joy that I am feeling right now. Thinking about it makes me emotional. Sometimes I just have to be quiet. Sometimes I just have to think back over my life and see where God has brought me from. He has brought me a mighty long way from where I was in my life. He has been there for me through everything I have ever gone through, and words alone will not ever be enough to explain the magnitude of the love He has for me. With that being said, I am feeling blessed and I hope you are too.

This is one of my favorite videos of the 90s era. It's all about Summer and having fun. Here it is now 2023 and this song is still being played. It is a song that will never get old. It talks about the happenings, and what's going on in the neighborhood to beat the Summer heat. This video makes me smile because it came out during the time when I lived with my mom. The nostalgia takes me back to better days growing up in the 90s. What do we do now to beat the Summer heat? Since I don't swim, I find other things to take my mind off of the heat. I mostly go to work, write, draw, read, or just chill and listen to Jazz music. This is the hottest month of Summer in my opinion, but I cannot wait until the Fall comes. It is my time of the year, and to top it all off, I was born in the Fall. I remember growing up as a kid, living in a house where we didn't have air conditioning; it was unbearable. The heat was so hot, you could see the heatwaves as cars passed by. It was like being close to the equator. I cannot get acclimated to this heat. I can't stand it. Texas heat makes you wish it was Winter every day. All in all, what can one do? The answer to that question is nothing. I can admit that I was so glad when I went to school to be in an air-conditioned classroom. It was even hot at night when the sun went down. I always thought it was supposed to cool off whenever the sun went down in the evenings. I thought this was a pretty picture of the sun setting over the water so, I decided to use it in my article. I didn't grow up around bodies of water, or windmills, but this is beautiful. I could only imagine what it would have been like if I did. How do you feel looking at this picture? Looking at it, I can feel all of my stress floating away. I can feel the heat of Summer floating away as well. Hopefully, as this month comes to a close it will start to cool off. Well, if you enjoy the Summer heat, more power to you. I believe that Summer and Winter are the only two seasons we complain about. The other seasons we are fine with because it isn't as hot as it is in the Summer. In conclusion, do whatever makes you happy to beat the Summer heat. Until next time, stay cool.

Well, I am finally trying to get it together. It has taken me a while to get things right on my new site. This is where I will be sharing lots of things that I want to talk about and give advice to everyone who may need it. This is a safe place to voice your opinions, your thoughts, and it will not be mentioned unless you mention it yourself, or share it on the forum. This is a respectful site, so I would appreciate it if everyone would be courteous and kind when speaking to others. Everyone has freedom of speech, but foul language will not be tolerated here. I have learned that it is not what you say, but how you say it, and the words being used. If I see anything here that has been shared with it containing foul language, it will be immediately deleted, and you will not be allowed to create here again, nor leave any comments on any posting. It has taken me a long time to get this worked out how I want it. I want this space to be respectable. We are all adults. There's not any room for childishness, bullying, or anything to make anyone feel bad about themselves. This site is very important to me because it is where I will be helping those who may need my help mentally, and Spiritually. I do have an advice column where I share advice with everyone for free, but soon there will be a paid subscription for you to join my site so you can continue to enjoy the advice I will be giving on a more personal level. Well, everyone, I have enjoyed conversing with you. This is another new journey for me to learn how to do something new. I started creating this site a year ago. There's only so much I can do until it is fully completed, but I am going to do what I can to keep you all informed with positive inspiration. Hello everyone, I am Shaunelius Sterns. I am a writer, published author and poet. The list of titles goes on and on but the rest will come later. I have been writing for a very long time. I am working on my second, and third books which I hope to have finished next year. If not, I hope to have them finished in the middle of next year. I am a mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, and great aunt. My life isn't perfect by any means, but with my Savior all things are possible. I have many hobbies that I enjoy, such as music, reading, drawing. I love Abstract Art. I am also a professional Abstract Artist. When it comes to art, I lose myself in it. It is so therapeutic for me. I also enjoy reading art and telling the story that I see in it. This isn't something that I did but it's beautiful. I can talk about art all day long, but this is about who I am. I am very outspoken, outgoing, and fun to be around. I stay away from negativity, and negative people. I don't need anyone, or anything bringing me down. I think about my future a lot. I want my future to be great. I want to be completely finished with my educational journeys and doing everything that I want to do in my life. I believe that I will. I also enjoy watching the birds and squirrels that play in my yard. I may see a hummingbird every once in a while, but I see the squirrels all of the time. I like the Cardinal. Their red color are really pretty, and the black around their face sets everything off. I love nature and being out in it. Now that Summer is here, it's too hot for me to go outside and enjoy nature. I can't wait until Autumn comes. I enjoy seeing the leaves change to the beautiful colors of Autumn. It's a view like no other in the world. I can't complain though. There was a time when I thought I wouldn't get to see the seasons come and go, or enjoy them, but I am grateful that I have been given the privilege to still be here to enjoy creation and my life. I never will take life for granted again. It is a precious gift, and we only get one. More about me is still to come. I have enjoyed sharing This is Who I Am with you all. How many of you know that s%<* happens on a regular basis? It doesn't matter where you are in the world! Here's the question: What can we do about it? The answer is nothing, absolutely nothing. We live and go about our usual day as always but the next thing you know, you're in an heated argument with someone ready to demolish the enemy. War with words, feelings, and emotions doesn't mix very well at all. Words are spoken hastily to hurt the souls of the one being provoked, but does it end there? Does it continue on from day to day, or is it passed over but never forgotten? S%<* Happens! Like this Olive oil, it's good alone, but when you add water to it, it doesn't mix.
